Mlm Recruiting, How to Recruit 30-50 Reps. Every Month into Your Business Part 1
Mlm recruiting is becoming more competitive so the competition will be tougher and what you have to do is you have to upgrade your skills so that you can compete in today’s world. The top 20 percent of recruiters realize that this is an art and a science and that if I upgrade my skills I can sponsor reps. If I understand that recruiting is complex, it is not simple, and in order for me to recruit in a tough market I have to be better educated and more skilled myself. The key to success is for you to get better every single day, become better as if your life depended upon it, because it does.
So here is success principle number one, spend more time with better prospects. Remember, the more time you spend face to face with qualified prospects, just by the law of probability, the more sales you will make. Now recruiting consists of three primary activities. There are seven major activities, three primary. And these three are prospecting, presenting, and following up and closing the sale. The top 10 percent in recruiting or sales in every industry are ones who are good at those three critical skills. Remember the key to your success in business is to spend more time face to face with people who can and will say yes if you just ask.
Your prospect will not buy from you until he or she is convinced that you are his or her friend and acting in his or her best interest. They have to be convinced that you are acting in their best interests. You know the rule, they do not care how much you know until they know how much you care. That is why when you meet people for the first time, it is important that you establish a friendly relationship. The relationship is more important than what you sell. Many people in mlm recruiting make the fatal error of going in, speaking to the prospect and start talking about their product or service before they have established a high quality relationship. The prospect just turns off, they have no interest.
Now I want to teach you what you are going to use, it’s called the relationship model of recruiting, and I want you to image a triangle that has four levels. Now we find that the relationship model of recruiting is used by the highest paid and most successful top 10 percent of recruiters worldwide. If you imagine a upside down triangle with four levels, the first level, the large level is 40 percent of the recruiting process and that is building trust. The second level is 30 percent of the sale, and that is where you focus on the needs of the customer. The third level is 20 percent and that is where you present your product or service effectively. And the last 10 percent, the bottom of the triangle, in the relationship model, is confirming and closing.
